Detmold. On March 1, 2020, Dirk Meyer-Hetling (54) will take over the newly created level of overall operational responsibility for the industrial brokers of the Ecclesia Group.
Together with Andreas Wendt, speaker of the management board of deas Deutsche Assekuranzmakler GmbH – the largest industrial broker of the Group – Dirk Meyer-Hetling is to further boost business development. His central task will be to further optimize the processes, structures and sales of the Ecclesia Group's industrial business in order to maintain a consistent focus on client benefits. This is intended to consolidate and further expand the path taken to growth in a sustainable way.
With all his prevous experience, Dirk Meyer-Hetling brings the best qualifications to this position. With a degree in business administration, he has more than 30 years of professional experience in management positions, sales and process optimization in the insurance industry. In his last role, he was head of the northern region of the broker Marsh; one of his key responsibilities was the cross-location cooperation. Jochen Körner, the Managing Director of Ecclesia Holding GmbH and responsible for the strategic alignment of the industrial business, is convinced that there is additional potential: "The individual regions and companies in the industrial business have to move closer together to join forces for the future and to meet customer requirements in the best possible way. Dirk Meyer-Hetling will report directly to Jochen Körner and will be based in Cologne.
